PINKO!!

October 15, 2011 by Phil and Elin Henderson

This is BINGO, Mwinika literacy style! It is a fun way for those studying to learn their syllables. To say that they enjoy the game is an understatement! They come early just so that we have enough time at the end to play. They get so excited when they win that some of them burst into dance! There are several sets of cards that go with each primer so that they can be continually challenged. Little do they know that they are actually learning syllables and words while they play. It’s a great way to reinforce what they are learning and have some fun on the side!

Literacy continues to go well. We are now a class of 6 men and 2 ladies. The students have been very faithful in coming even with the recent rains. Continue to pray that they will stick with the program and absorb the material that is being taught at this very fast pace!
