HAPPY THANKSGIVING

December 7, 2012 by Phil and Elin Henderson

Well, it is a few weeks late but this picture really was taken ON Thanksgiving day. We enjoyed a full day of fun, food and laughter (Elias case in point :)) with Phil’s family here in Florida. It is always so great to share the holidays with family after so many years apart!

The week before thanksgiving Phil and I travelled to Reston, VA for a week long missions conference at Reston Bible Church. We had a wonderful time connecting with folks there and sharing what God has and is doing among the Mwinika people.

This next weekend we travel to Venice, FL to speak at Venice Bible Church. We are looking forward to spending time with a neat fellowship of people who have faithfully been praying us along the way!

As soon as the kids are out of school we head out west and into the snow! 🙂 We will be spending the Christmas holidays with my family in the Spokane, WA area. We hope to have time to visit with several churches during our time there as well. The kids are excited to see their cousins again and we are all looking forward to our first holidays together in over five years.

So much to be thankful for…family, friends, provision for our every need, His amazing life giving work in each of our lives and so much more! May each day be full of THANKSGIVING!
