WEEK 4 UPDATE

March 17, 2011 by Phil and Elin Henderson

Wow! 16 lessons done already. Time is flying. There is still a long way to go but, by God’s grace, things are moving. It rained quite a bit this week but none of our sessions were affected. All of the sessions this week were well attended. Attendance seems to be creeping up ever so slowly. The notable difference these last two weeks has been the increased number of young people (pre-teens and teenagers) as well as the faithful attendance of more religious leaders. Today one of the main religious leaders of the biggest religious group in our area was sitting next to one of the main leaders of the other big religious group in our area. We are still encouraged with the proportion of old and young and male and female. We even have some of the shady ladies, the drunks and the trouble makers attending along with some of the stalwarts of the community. It is quite a diverse group, but we are encouraged to see the faithful attendance of so many! Next week we will teach about Cain and Abel, Enoch, and Noah.

Please pray that people will continue to attend faithfully and they will take to heart what they are hearing.
