Drum roll, please!

November 14, 2012 by Promise Vaughan

Auntie Promise got her visa!
Auntie Promise got her visa!

Please join me in praising God that my visa has arrived (in case you hadn’t already heard my scream of joy)! I am also praising God for providing 93% of the monthly support I need for serving in Papua New Guinea. “What does that mean?” you may be wondering. It means that I am able to proceed with purchasing a plane ticket to leave for Papua New Guinea in January.

The next two months will be busy. In addition to going to my grandmother’s funeral in Missouri, participating in Missions Conference at Foothill Bible Church, and celebrating two holidays, I also need to purchase itemsĀ  to take to Papua New Guinea, do lots of paperwork (changing my car title, etc.), start packing, and say good-bye to family and friends that I will not be seeing for several years. Please continue praying for me as I complete my preparations for Papua New Guinea and pray that God will prepare me for the transition of learning to live in another culture.
