Many have heard that Jesus died for them. Who Will Tell Them? AWAYO
THOUGHTS FROM RANDY
We know that life gets very busy so thanks so much for taking the time to read our updates and to pray for us. We do appreciate you and your friendship. I was reading recently in Mark chapter 9 where we see Jesus taking Peter, James and John up on the mountain where Jesus is then transfigured before them. In verse five Peter says, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here, let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”. I have read this passage many times but what caught my attention this time was in verse six. Jesus says this, “because he did not know what to say, for they were greatly afraid.” So many times when we don’t know what to say, it is easy to say, ” ok I must do something”. We can be people that can’t just be still or quiet but must do, do, do. In verse seven, it said the a voice came from the cloud over them and said, “This is My beloved Son, HEAR HIM!” There is a time to do and yet there is also a time to be still and to listen to GOD. In the our busy lives I really think we all could spend more time being still before GOD and listening to Him. I would like to encourage You, as well as our selves, that we make sure that we are taking the time we should to spend with the Lord and to get to know Him in a more intimate way.
