Introducing…

January 2, 2007 by

Best Wishes!!! Enjoy Chi-town!The weather held out…! Thank You Father! Everyone arrived safely for the grand event in Newell, Iowa held at 3pm on Saturday, December 30, 2006. Tim Ried and I had the awesome privilege of performing the marriage ceremony for his daughter and my son. Mike and Rachel became the newest Schaffner couple, and what a cute couple they are. The ceremony and reception went very well. They had a number of their friends and family in the wedding party. What a blessed day it was for us and we know a great day of encouragement for the new couple, despite both starting to get colds. They decided to spend their honeymoon in one of their favorite cities… Chicago.

Many of you have been praying for them for some time and prayed for the weather particularly…thank you so much! Everyone got there ok and got out ok too. My Mom and Dad came from Florida, and I was a bit concerned that they would get stuck in Iowa in some bad weather…oh ye of little faith. They got home just fine. Thanks again for praying for our family! And please check out the photos.
