We have returned home now after what was a very surprising trip to FL. I went down to help Dad go through back surgery and recover. After the successful surgery, Dad did not do well. He never really came out of it. Within 6 days Dad had gone home to be with the Lord. It is a great blessing in that he was getting pretty weak and missed Mom alot. We were not ready for this for sure. What a shock and yet the Lord has been so good to our family throughout the entire time. We were all able to be together for the service. Now, all are home and settling into “normal life” without Dad. How thankful we are that he knew Jesus. how comforting to know that we will be together once again around the throne of our great God and King. What hope! What Love! Thank you for praying for us as we go through the grieving process, looking to our faithful Father who comforts us whenever we need it.
