WOW! We were so blessed to be able to be with Aaron and Megan when Stella Rae arrived January 3. Is she ever cute!!! Praise the Lord in a couple of days she and Meg were able to come home. We spent another day with them before returning to NTBI for the beginning of the semester. It was sad to leave so soon as you might imagine. But then, the new family needed to get started on their own routine.
Before our trip to see Stella born…what a treat to be able to visit our 16 month old granddaughter over Christmas. You can imagine the good time we had in 8 days…watching Olivia while Megan and Rico had to work :>)! We did lots of walking, visiting the pet store and shopping for Christmas. We rode two carousels…it had been so long! At 16 months, she is interacting really well…making noise, walking everywhere, being busy…you know. We are so thankful for the time and ability to spend time in CA! Praise the Lord!
Upon returning to NTBI, we welcomed 21 new students in our freshmen class, bringing out total to 122. Enrollment has been down the past couple of years so we are working hard to spread the word about New Tribes and the work God is doing around the world through our folks. There are still about 2,200 different language groups without the Word of God so the need is great for missionaries.
