Within the last week we have heard about more tribal people hearing the Gospel and believing! Another church has been born near the Madang region of Papua New Guinea. Our friends and alumni Jason and Nisae were the ones God used to bring these folks into the family. Praise the Lord.
This is the kind of news we love sharing with our students. It creates in them a sense of excitement as many of them desire to do the same thing when they leave NTBI and NTM’s training center in MO. I love sharing this with staff too as it keeps us focused on the big picture before us and reminds us why we are doing what we do at NTBI.
Our family is doing well. We were so blessed this summer when everyone came home for a week; a rare thing nowadays with them all scattered…CA, MA and MO. [singlepic id=182 w=320 h=240 float=right]We will be growing by one around February 14 when Rico and Megan see their new one for the first time. We are pretty excited to see him too; our first grandson!
Our semester begins January 15 when students return to continue their studies. We appreciate your prayers for their break; many will be with family and friends sharing what they have learned. It can be an exciting time but also be challenging as responses can vary greatly. Your prayers for wisdom and clarity are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for praying for us too. This work we are involved in is His work and we know aside from Him working, we can do nothing. So we desperately need His wisdom and enablement to have any impact on the lives He has allowed us to invest in. What an incredible privilege to serve at NTBI. We thank God for each pray-er often.
