Stacie:
Every couple of days, when I get around to logging on to my NTM email, I get to be encouraged by our daily bulletins we get with little update excerpts from random tribes (usually about 4 or 5 bulletins at a time 🙂 ) I love to read these, because most of them are like little snapshots of what I hope our family will be doing in a few years. It is so cool to hear about tribes that are sending out their own missionaries, or even hearing the chronological teaching for the first time.
Anyways, I was reading a few of those today, and one tribe (I don’t remember the tribal name, but it was in Brazil) had so many believers that they divided into 18 small groups!! I just thought that was so cool- how amazing would it be if God places us in a tribe where that was true (God may it be so!). Now, I fully realize that the “ee-taow” experience (being carried on the shoulders of the people who had just realized what Christ did for them) isn’t necessarily normal, but a girl can’t help but dream 🙂
*ps, if anyone reading this is interested in getting the NTM daily bulletins, you can go to http://usa.ntm.org/, click on “field news”, and on the right column will be an option for email updates- I highly recommend them!
