Destination: PNG

So, super exciting news, we’ve started toward a field! Not just any field, but the very beautiful, very needful country of Papua New Guinea. We’ve been praying about it for a while, and though we’re still open should God choose to send us elsewhere, we feel like this door is one that is open for us.

THIS beautiful snapshot of God's creation
was taken IN PNG! Woo Hoo!!

There are so many needs in this small country, we feel so blessed and a little overwhelmed that God is choosing us to be a part of His plan there (overwhelmed by the honor and also by the immensity of the job that is before us). We are hoping to take the Linguistics course following graduation (one month! we are graduating in ONE MONTH!), with the possibility of taking a super-concentrated course in Greek that would bring these post-graduation classes to a full two semesters rather than one and a half.

Check out this shirt! This will be us...

One other little exciting tidbit: we found out that the papers we were filling out that I thought were for applying for membership were actually the papers you fill out once you’ve been accepted for membership! As of February, we will be members of New Tribes Mission!

We're IN!!

Praise the Lord for His provision and guidance- He is so wonderful 🙂
