We haven’t moved! We are still serving in Tanzania. We are back to blogging again.
Life happens! Then one day you realize that it has been 3+ years since your last blog post. I’m okay with that. It means that I am invested in where I am; in building relationships with people around me and serving in our ministry roles here in Tz.
A lot has happened since our last update. Our current situation is this:
We are Waiting on the Lord!
Sounds like something we do consistently throughout our lives. We are still serving in our ministry roles, raising our family, and investing in our community. We just find ourselves in a period of “waiting” to see what the Lord is doing. We know God is at work in Tanzania. He is drawing people to Himself and being glorified by the believers here, locals and foreigners alike. We are excited about what He is doing here and are waiting in eager expectation to see each day how He wants to use us to fulfill His purposes.
Family News: We are doing well! The kids are excited about school. We will have 2 middle schoolers this year! Our second daughter, Marilyn, was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. All the kids and I, Amy, traveled back to the States for 6 weeks this summer so that Marilyn could get on an insulin pump and attend Diabetes Camp. Rob stayed back in Tanzania to provide consistent support to our ministry. The kids and I are back in Tanzania now, and are excited about what the coming months hold for our kids, our family, and our ministry!
Blessings to all and more to come!!
Amy
