Missionaries with Ethnos 360

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15

Reflection Time

Has it been a year already since I updated this blog?!? We sure have been living life to the fullest. 🙂 We have completed our first year of ministry at the training center. So much has happened this year with our family and our ministry. We have settled into our roles and and are very much enjoying serving and living at Ethnos360 Training. The kids had a great year settling into a new school and living on the campus. Shelbyanne graduated from high school and is heading to college in August.

As I look back on all that the Lord has been doing in and through us over the last year, I can’t help but be thankful. We have been able to live and serve alongside missionaries that have spent many years serving the Lord in various roles all over the world. It is neat to hear their stories and see how God has lead them to be currently serving at the training center. We have also been able to get to know many amazing students who are training to head out all over the world. It is so cool to be a part of reaching the unreached people of the world by training and equipping future missionaries who will be going out to be the hands and feet to bring the good news of the Gospel of Jesus to the world.

What is Happening Now

As I am writing this, we are traveling from Florida to Alabama. We have taken 3 weeks this summer to visit our family, churches and friends. We started our travels in Nashville visiting with an amazing family who were our neighbors in Tanzania. Then we had a reunion with about 45 people who had lived and served at the school I, Amy, taught at in South Korea. Several of these folks were there when Rob and I met and a few were at our wedding in Alabama. We have 1 week left before we head back to Missouri. We have had such a good time reconnecting with everyone and meeting new friends.

We spent some time sharing about our current ministry roles as well as how people can partner with us in this ministry through prayer and financial support. We are currently serving as state-side missionaries with Ethnos360. Our ministry is still funded through our friends, family and churches. If you are interested in learning more about how you can join our ministry team, please email me at safariseekers@yahoo.com.

Our Korea Reunion – What an amazing time with great friends!
Lunch with Nana at our favorite Sushi place!
Fun and Games with family!
We were able to visit 2 of our supporting churches. It has been so good to be home to love and be loved on by everyone!

We are so excited about getting home and starting the Fall Semester on campus. Rob and I will be continuing in our current roles as well as joining the mentoring team to be on a training team and to mentor a couple of students through their time in the program. We are excited to see all the Lord with do this year in and through us!
