Finalizing preparations for our annual Conference; going to government offices for paper work and corresponding with new missionaries enroute has kept Rocky busy this past month. We always look forward to catching up with fellow missionaries at Conference time; excited when the paper work goes thru and anxious to have more troops join the ranks, so time spent on these projects is always well worth it.
Liz tries to spend as much time as possible working on various articles and reports for an upcoming magazine. She will be super excited to have this project behind her, and be freed up to go on to other tasks. Finding time to play ‘grandma’ and sharing lots of meals with people passing thru the center also helps to fill lots of days.
We are looking forward to spending Christmas in our new home here on the flight center. Many friends are coming up to the center for the holidays, so there will be lots of activity. Ryan and Kara plan to go to Ohio – five of the Allen siblings, and their spouses are planning a get-together. We are sure there will be lots of fun and laughter there. Craig and Claire will be surrounded by love in the Jefferies home in Birmingham, England. Although we would love to be able to be together with our family during this Christmas Season, we are so thankful that God has allowed them to be with other family members.
