Many blessings!

God blessed us with a wonderful Christmas Season.  Not only was it the first one in our new home on the flight center, but He sent 3 special families our way to help us celebrate this great event.  We brought an extra table into our dining room to make it more comfortable to feed 12 adults each meal.  Lots and lots of laughter often filled the air too, causing us to wonder if  we were keeping our neighbours awake at night!

Chinese friends from Manila came up to help us bring the new year in – another blessing from the Lord.  These folks have a special place in our lives so it was exciting to be able to show them the area where the Lord has us located at this time.  We traveled back down to Manila with them where they shared their home with us both before and after our annual field Conference. 

This year’s conference was another blessing.  Lots of people were praying for us as we worked through all the details, and it was wonderful to see God answering those prayers right before our eyes.  Our guest speaker came all the way from the Faroe Islands, and God really used him to encourage all of us.

Our newest blessing was to have the Gappmayr family join our field this week.  It was exciting to see them coming down the ramp at the airport with their 2 little boys, ready to fit in to the ministry God has brought them over here to do.

God has brought countless other blessings into our lives recently – too many to write down on paper, but we sure feel blessed and are so thankful that He is allowing us to be part of His team in seeing many Filipinos come to understand His great love for them.
