We have arrived safely at our destination. Actually we got here several nights ago and have been settling in since.
One of my, Roland, classmates and his wife prepared a supper for us that last two meals. What a blessing not to need to get food out and prepare it in the middle of all the unpacking.
We have been to two three other families’ homes each night since we’ve arrived and had great times of rejoicing and wonderful food. Jinni has not had to cook supper until last night really. Blessing have surely come our way!!
The residence is just perfect for our group of six Shafers. The boys are sharing a room again. The girls are still sharing their room and we have a nice little schoolroom space for the three younger kids – Elijah, Moriah and Susan. RJ is working with Jinni as a teacher’s assistant and is helping emmensely.
The campus is beautiful (even though it is really muddy now). We are slowly meeting our neighbors and staff.
Well, we are here and things are moving along superbly. We appreciate your continued prayer with us as we transition through emptying boxes and making this our home for the next several months.
