This Friday morning, several members of our congregation will be leaving the US for a short term ministry trip. They will be about 5 hours away, not really that far, hoping to be a blessing to a sister church there. The team will have some valuable time to spend building relationships with this little national church.
One of the members of the team will be getting off work and arriving home, just before he has to turn around leave for the airport. He will be quite tired by the end of this trip to get there. We are praying the Lord will allow our brother to sense His sustaining strength and rest while they are in flight.
Since the pastor is part of the team he has given me an opportunity to bring the main message the Sunday He is out of town – that would be this Sunday. I am praying for wisdom as to what the Lord would use to teach us. I am also asking that I would be clear in communicating God’s message to us all. I am trusting you will join me as I thank the Lord for what only He can do.
