NEWS ALERT: I’m trading snow for palm trees!
What does the culmination of a year of partnership development look like?
How about with boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap—and that strangely chaotic look that comes with packing? (I try to keep that look out of my eyes!)
How about with a long list of loose ends to tie up, good-byes to say, and a date set to move into ministry? I think that pretty much sums it up!
Plans have been made, the boxes are packed and ready to ship, and a moving date has been set. Even our hardy New York winter is lingering around to give me a good sendoff. The countdown is on!
In less than a week, I’ll be saying good-bye to New York, to wonderful friends and family, and to great memories—and embarking on a journey into a new chapter in God’s plan for my life.
I should arrive at New Tribes Mission’s USA home office in Sanford, Florida on April 1st—and really, that’s not an April Fool’s Day joke!
Thank you for your prayers as I wrap up last minute details on this end and for safety during the move. Thank you for praying for the transitions to a new location and a new ministry—and as an empty-nester for the first time! I look forward to writing you from the other end of the move.
