I successfully traded snow for palm trees. And what a trade that was! I’m loving the lake, the palm trees, and the sun—and most definitely the warmth. Stepping out of the air-conditioned office, I love the feeling of being wrapped in the warm Florida sun.
This past month, since arriving, has been a busy one. Unpacking went smoothly and I’m feeling nicely settled in to my second story apartment. The view from my front window is spectacular. I’ve posted proof below. That’s the sunset from my window the first night here!
It’s been great to spend time with both my brother and sister and their families. A not-so-great part was saying good-bye to my mother-in-law as she moved north—even if I understand the why behind it all. She’ll be missed.
And then there’s my new ministry. Talk about a perfect fit. Three weeks into it and I’m probably having a bit too much fun with my ministry to label it as work! If you want proof that I really am working, just click HERE to read an article I recently wrote. It’s a praise for God’s miraculous provision of a Kodiak plane for Papua New Guinea.
A big thank you for your prayers, notes of encouragement, and financial support that have made the move into this ministry possible.
