More teeth coming in for Jordan mean lot’s of things.
Now, he can put food in his mouth, bite down on it, and the food doesn’t come sliding out of his mouth as he pulls it away.
Teeth also means getting told "NO!" lots. He has discovered that when he attacks us mouth wide open and then chomps down, that we give a delightful yelp in response to him biting us. I am not quite sure why he thinks this to be fun, but he does. We are thinking that it is not quite so amusing.
Teeth also means some long nights and early mornings. Cutting teeth for him isn’t quite so pleasant. When we wake up to his screaming we both hope that we were the last one to have taken care of him so that this time it is the other persons turn. This morning it was April’s turn. I enjoyed my rest.
Being missionaries is a huge part of the life the Lord has given us but being parents has and always will come first. For now, teeth is the focus. Aren’t we so blessed? 🙂
