quad

October 7, 2010 by Simon and Annika Flanagan

Hi all,

A while ago our team quad bike died. We are in the process of raising money as a team to purchase a new one. The reason for buying one is to move all our cargo that comes in on the plane down to our houses. It’s a 20min walk from the plane to our houses and so when you have a full plane load of 400kg’s (around 800llb’s) for our four families then it is hard work and a long walk to our houses. We also pay people to carry but this also has been adding to the difficulties with the airstrip – anytime there is money involved problems with the airstrip come. Things get stolen on the way and is often too big a temptation for people who aren’t believers. So as a team we would like to put this in the open for prayer as a need. Some churches have supplied almost 75% of the money needed and so we praise the Lord we are almost there. We do however only have a month left before a container leaves from the UK and the intention would be for the vehicle to go on that container and come to PNG. This is the cheapest option for supply to PNG. If you would want more info on this please get in touch. Thanks for your prayers and support in these practical ways. Much love in Christ,

Simon, Annika, Nya and Noah
