We are going to admit Karis back into hospital today. She will be having tests today and then her procedure on Tuesday morning. Please be praying for a successful procedure and that they would be able to open her SVC artery without using a stent. Please pray they can at least get very clear test results and they will have a definite plan for any future treatment that may or may not be needed.
Thanks for your faithful prayers for us as a family. Pray also for Nya and Noah they have been in tears as they don’t want us to be apart or Karis to go back to hospital.
Opportunity!
We reminded ourselves again today that all troubles in this life are opportunities for great things to happen and that God is in the business of blessing us in the the worst of circumstances. James 1:2-4 2 “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.”
Purpose!
We see many people who are crushed under trials because they see no purpose to life and the troubles that come. But hope in Christ, brings purpose to every area of life. God has never been more real to us than during these difficult days. 2Cor 4: 16 That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. 17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! 18 So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
Grace to you all whatever your circumstances,
Simon and Annika
