A Journey Toward Dedication

I’ve just been back a month, and in some ways it seems like a lot has happened. But in other ways it’s been a slow start!  My luggage did finally arrive after ten days, and I was able to finish settling into my house. I’ve been able to host several groups, and as always, I’ve enjoyed that.

I was able to be a part of the Tigak Bible Dedication and created this video so that you could be a part of it too!  Please take the time to watch it and experience life on the other side of the globe. Pray for the Tigak people as they read and study God’s Word.

I was able to lead a ladies’ retreat this past weekend at the support center where I live. It was a different setting, but it worked well for this group of three. I included the photo with all the food containers to show just how much food I make and we eat at a retreat!  I think I’m always worried we won’t have enough, and those were all our leftovers!

And one last thing. I’ve been thinking and praying about the concept of Missionary Care: what the needs are and how they could be met, what role the home church and the support team here should play. Pray for me as I think through these things and consider who to share my ideas with and how.
