God has given me a passion to see churches engage in the Great Commission by sending and supporting missionaries well. I am currently serving in Papua New Guinea to play a role in seeing that happen by facilitating communication between missionaries and their sending churches and supporters. All believers have a role in God’s global mission. I hope to mobilize the Church in encouraging and praying for the work of those on the front lines. Not only will missionaries be supported, the Church will be blessed with a greater understanding of the God we serve when they are actively engaged with the work He’s doing in the world.
I was born and raised in Indiana, grew up in the small town of Huntington, attended Huntington College and then moved to the even smaller town of Winona Lake. I was challenged in my understanding of purpose, realizing that our lives are about bringing God glory, in a Perspectives class in 2012. I have been pursuing and supporting Missions ever since, never really imagining that one day I would become a missionary myself.
I have the privilege of being part of the church body at Warsaw Community Church and serving on the Missions Committee there. I enjoy connecting with and encouraging missionaries worldwide. I also enjoy hiking, gardening, cooking, photography and biking.
