What does it look like?
Like last month, I want to take you on a journey to see what tribal church planting looks like, both from the church planting side and the support network side. It takes both!
Below you can click on the photo to see a photo/video clip story of what it looks like to live in a tribal location learning the culture and language of the people living there. I was able to go in on a consultant trip to a people group called Kovol. The consultants here are vital to giving guidance to every aspect of a church plant. They help not only with language learning, but also literacy, translation and church development.
And then check out one of the videos I’ve been working on to promote the needs at our school here. The teachers at NCA are a vital part of our church planting team. Because they’re here doing what they are to take care of educating our missionary kids, their parents can be serving in a support role or as a church planter and can continue working to see thriving churches in Papua New Guinea.
Please pray for this need. Decisions will be made soon about what we can offer families next year if no one decides to come fill the gap, especially in secondary math.
As part of New Tribes Mission-PNG, Numonohi Christian Academy exists to support the church planting mission of NTM-PNG by providing a Christ-centered, comprehensive education program that meets the needs of missionary kids to enable missionaries to focus on the ministry God has given them. As a teacher, you’ll impact not only the missionary families that you work with, but the people of Papua New Guinea as well. Be part of the greater team impacting the people of PNG for eternity.
