It’s fun having friends all over the world, but it’s even more fun when they can come and visit. And that’s exactly what happened this last week! Let me tell you more:
From Thursday to Friday my friends Grant and Marianne were here in Wisconsin. They are missionaries in the Philippines, and are on a journey from Ohio to British Columbia, Canada, before they head back to the Philippines in November. I’m so glad I got to catch them for about 18 hours of their long journey!
Over the weekend my brother Jeff and my grandma were both here. Jeff ran his first half marathon on Saturday and we got practice finding him and taking pictures. He did great! Then on Sunday we had a “meet the baby” party where everyone got to spend time with my new nephew Jeremiah and his big sister Lydia.
Tuesday morning brought another friend, Rebekah, to my house for breakfast. She’s from Missouri but will soon be leaving for Papua New Guinea where she will be a missionary, too.
What a great, but busy, few days!
