Do you know what this fruit is? I had never noticed it before yesterday when my host mom gave me two of them. I got home and Sophie, one of my good friends, showed me how to eat it. You cut off the top, then there are three holes in it, out of which you can scrape some almost clear jelly-like substance out and eat it. When you’ve scraped that out of the holes you can now drink the juice that’s in it. It almost tasted like coconut, but there wasn’t nearly as much juice in it. (Or at least I don’t think there was as much juice. But it did spill all over when I was trying to drink, so maybe there was.) It was good. It was quite interesting. It’s name is sebe in Jula. I have no idea what it’s called in French and absolutely no idea what it’s called in English. Any ideas?
