Ah, I love the weather in December here! It’s true that there is dust everywhere, but the temperatures are beautiful. It’s the first time I’ve seen temperatures as low as the 70s since I was in the US this summer. At night it can even get down into the 60s. So wonderful.
Today I even went to church with my hair down. It was the first time in a long time if not the first time ever here in My Country. And even with my hair down and my choir robe on on top of my clothes, I didn’t mind that they didn’t turn the fans on! Usually if the fans are off, pretty soon I notice as I start sweating, and keep wishing that someone would go turn them on. (And often someone does go over and turn them on.) But today no one turned them on and I didn’t even mind. I’m enjoying this. Gee, I even put on a sheet at night, and there was one night when I was still chilly even with a sheet, so I got out a wrap-around skirt and put it on top and that worked. No, I don’t have a blanket here.
Anyone want to come for a visit?
