Hi from the US! Isn’t that fun to say?
I’ve been working with words all day, trying to get the word list of My Language out of my notebook and onto my computer, so let me share some numbers with you as a break from words:
1 – I’ve been in the US just over 1 month so far.
5 – I have almost 5 more months before I plan to return to My Country
41 – The high in WI on Friday was 41 degrees – and that was Farenheit – brr!
2 – The number of snowstorms I missed in WI while I was in Arizona from April 13 – 19.
79 – The current temperature in Wisconsin. Hopefully we’ll take our first boat ride of the season this evening!
6 – The number of different beds I’ve slept in since I got back to the US. Yes, they were all in different states.
1/2 – The number of days before I leave on my next trip – to Illinois.
2 – I’ll be in grad school in North Dakota for two months this summer.
About 16 – The number of presentions I’ve given about life and ministry in My Country since being back in the US.
1 – The number of texts I got from people in the village today.
894 – The number of words in my word log on my computer. I have 1070 in my notebook, so I’m getting there!
2 – The number of times I have made and eaten “tô” since being in the US. (Since it has to be made over the fire, you can see me getting it ready in the snow – do you think this is the first time in history that someone got ready to make “tô” in the snow?)
1 – One great God Who’s worthy of it all!
