Well, I have good news! The missionary doctor who brought Rachida’s CT scans to the US has an appointment with a leading retinoblastoma (the type of eye cancer Rachida has) specialist tomorrow morning! That’s at 10 am eastern time, Monday morning, October 24. She asked for prayer for wisdom and discernment, so I told her that I’d ask you guys to pray. I don’t know what God’s going to do here, but I pray that it will be big and super glorifying to Him. Even just having answers would be so good.
On the other front, Rachida and her grandma Kadi are still in another West African country, and I haven’t heard from them for almost a week. They were supposed to have a doctor’s appointment last Wednesday, but I haven’t heard any news from that yet. I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks so much for your prayers! They are making a difference!

Susie is it common for this delay returning from Mali? I’m so happy this process for Rachida is moving along. Makes me think of Psalm 28:7 “The Lord is my strength & my safe cover. My heart trusts in Him & I am helped. So my heart is full of joy. I will thank Him with my song.” Actually I’ll thank Him with my prayer, singing isn’t my best strength!

And we will continue to pray.
