Hi prayer partners,
You can see our new web page at www.ntm.org/theo_enns . I feel like I’m not quite keeping up with the times, but New Tribes has given us some help in getting this site set up. We will try to continue upgrading and updating the info you might be interested in – so let us know if you have any suggestions. Please write us if you want more personal or specific news.
Earlier this month I drove up to our Mission’s Pennsylvania training camp, where I audited a six-day College Wayumi course in cross-cultural outreach to Unreached People Groups. This course parallels the type of tribal mission exposure we want to be able to give to our WorldView Trip participants, whether in pre-trip orientation, during the 2-week trip overseas, or in a separate post-trip seminar.
This month I have been able to help Lesley, our co-worker in Côte d’Ivoire, with some legal/business letters, via e-mail. These kinds of letters to government offices were what I did in Abidjan before we had to evacuate, and I’m glad that we can continue to help – via technology – even from here in northeast Alabama.
Dad Peterson seems to be adjusting well to his first month in the VA Home – which is over an hour’s drive away. Dad had been in a local nursing home since December 2007. It is hard on Mom P to not be able to see him as often. But she keeps "busy" here at home accompanying Martha to our church services or different ladies meetings. I often need to go to church separately, with my responsabilities as Lock-up/part-time custodian, or to practice with the worship band or choir.
See our Praise & Prayer items for this month in the "PRAY" link on the left.
Gladly part of His team,
Theo & Martha Enns
