News & Notes for Praise & Prayer

Challenging, Equipping and Mobilizing Europeans to Make Disciples “from Jerusalem to the Uttermost”

We are grateful to be finally now back home in Scotland. A week or so after we finished teaching in North Cotes, we left again for the beautiful English Lake District to represent New Tribes (UK)/Ethnos360 at the historic…

Keswick Convention for two weeks

This yearly opportunity is always a great joy, but at the same time very tiring. We served there at the convention with Andrew & Ruth Murray, who are veteran missionaries who worked over 25 years among the Nimo people group of Papua New Guinea – seeing that people group reached, a church planted and the New Testament translated. Together, we made some excellent contacts and met many people as we helped with the NTM (UK) display table. The second week Carolyn & I were able to take part in a missions camp run by Pioneers UK at the Convention. We were camping that week on the edge of town with over 200 fellow campers from all around the UK, and sadly it was very, very wet ALL week long. It was however a really great opportunity to meet many new folks and to introduce and share the work of NTM (UK). Please pray all this Keswick effort will lead to some opportunities for the Murrays and ourselves to share the work in new churches and fellowships.

It is good to be home AND DRY!!! again.

Yes, but the normal damp Scottish “summer” weather has returned here also, so we have been working long hours in the office with lots of desk work, down-sizing our files/office, answering emails and letters, completing church report forms, etc, etc, etc. We are getting a bit of much needed R & R also however, and taking some lovely walks by the sea here near us in beautiful south east Scotland. So we do thank the Lord for that.

Please pray for divinely appointed and fruitful encounters … that the Lord would be pleased to raise up and send forth these as laborers for the Harvest in many unreached and remote people groups!

Thursday AM community Bible study

I continue to help teaching each week at our local church in Edinburgh, and do one-to-one discipleship. Many opportunities and needs!

News students and a new year of training

Praise the Lord with us for the 36 NEW students who have arrived to begin their training in our Biblical Studies course at our NTM UK’s North Cotes College – Bible and missionary training center. Please pray as these Europeans step out to train to serve the Lord, and pray for an encouraging orientation and commencement of classes.

Thank you so much for your vital partnership in the Lord’s work here.

Yours because we are His,

Thom & Carolyn
