The calendar says we’re into Fall even if the warm temps keep it feeling summery. Our Fall decor has been out for awhile now which has helped us get into the Fall season. We have to enjoy it quickly as 4 of the 6 of our family will be heading to Indonesia soon.
October 8th we will begin our 7 week trip to Indonesia. It feels like it’s quickly approaching. Dina & Abby will be here in Jacksonville getting the feel for life on their own. Thanks for your prayers for them. One of them is working at a Daycare facility here in Jacksonville and the other is doing classes and working at Chik-fil-A. They are both being stretched and also making good strides into adult life. Again we would really appreciate your prayers for them throughout this time as we will be halfway around the world and 12 time zones from them.
As we get to Asia Pacific we will hit the ground running with a large Area Fellowship get-together 2 days after we arrive. We’ve been planning it with a few others for many months now. Tim will be sharing during the 3 morning sessions and Andrea will be helping to coordinate Ladies’ events and oversee the Children’s program. Huge praise is that we have a team from the States that will be running a VBS type program for the kids and also lead Worship for the adults. This is a huge blessing for our families! Prayer Request: The main island we will be on is currently facing extreme fires and hazardous smoke levels. Air quality is terrible and flights are facing cancelations. This could greatly hinder travel for all the guests and families coming for the fellowship time together.
We will do some travel in to the village Training Center, as well as visit church planting teams along the way. After that we will have another 2 weeks of meetings on another island before we head back to the States.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers as we walk this path. May God continue to be glorified in our weakness and daily dependence on Him as we seek to make Him known to the nations!
