Dear Following Friends,
We do really appreciate you, our friends and family, that follow these updates and are walking this path with us here. In our last update we mentioned that I (Andrea) was having my last language exam/evaluation. PHEW it’s over and I passed!!!! Thank you SO much for praying about it with me, I was so nervous for several days but am so very thankful for how God provided the helpers just when we needed them and allowed it to go well. What a relief to be done with my official language study, certainly another milestone along this challenging tribal ministry! Of course I want to keep learning and I still have a lot to learn but I can now move into helping Tim in small areas of translation and also get into our literacy projects. That’s very exciting. I’ve enjoyed a week or so here of a break, we finished up Kindergarten with the girls and will be heading out to town for 2 weeks for supplies and a family vacation!
Tim is continuing to make good progress on lesson development and translation. Helpers have come here and there, and we’re encouraged as we see God working! Tim was gone for 6 days last week as he attended a Bible conference in a tribal area where they now have believers who are fellowshiping and growing in neat ways.
