Last month I was teaching a group of students at the missionary training here, and a question was raised about where the end of the earth is. We have had the conversation with older tribal people who still have a cosmology that includes the sun circling the earth and the earth being basically flat. In this instance the student who was asking about the end of the earth was not referring to its shape but to where the gospel must be proclaimed.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
Today the end of the earth is any location where the gospel has not been proclaimed in a way that people can understand and respond to in faith. This end of the earth could be because of physical distance from other Christians, or because of political isolation, or because of social barriers preventing the natural spread of outside ideas. Although there are many places all around the world where the gospel has been and should continue to be proclaimed, the end of the earth Jesus has sent His witnesses out to refers to those places outside the reach of that clear telling of the gospel.

In Deranuk the believers are working on a building to use as their church building.
Our ministry these past few years has been to support and equip teams here in Asia Pacific who are going to the end of the earth. We believe God has positioned us this past term to serve Him in this way. Thanks to so many of you who have supported us so that we can partner with these teams.

This month we have a time of fellowship with our area teams and close co-workers. We would appreciate your prayers for this time together. Pray for unity and vision around the calling of God to the work He has for us to reach the end of the earth.

Above is a middle school age youth group we have helped with this past 6 months.
