Living Small and Living Great!

February 18, 2018 by Tobi Magill

You know you live in a small community when…

…you know which neighbor just sneezed.

…you know, without looking, who’s driving by just by the sound of their vehicle.

…you know what TV series your neighbors are currently enjoying.

…you know your neighbor’s taste in music without having seen their collection.

…you know what time of day it is by which neighbor you hear at home and you can tell whose door just opened or closed.

…you forgot that last ingredient but know which neighbor is likely to have it to borrow.

…your neighbors know who you had over to visit and what you fed them without having been there.

…you know which neighbors have the best movie collections.

…your neighbors know your daily schedule as well as you do.

You know you live in a GREAT community when…

…many of your conversations occur through the window screen or over a porch rail.

…your neighbors become extended family.

…things, both big and small, are celebrated together.

…a helicopter lands in your backyard more than a few times a year!

…they’re willing to laugh just as hard at your mistakes as you are! Haha!

…a neighbor says, “I’ll pray for you” and you know they will.
