Did you know that approximately 2,000,000,000 people have no opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ? They are considered the “unreached.”
Did you know that approximately 2,000,000,000 people have no Scripture in their language and virtually no Christians living among them through whom they can experience Christ’s love?
Did you know that out of the 6,900 known languages in the world only 5% have a complete Bible, 28% have portions of the Bible and 67% have no Bible in their own language?
Jesus Christ has sent us out into a very large harvest field (Matt 9:37-38).

“The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask Him to send more workers into His fields.” – Jesus Christ
Jesus felt “compassion” for the lost and hopeless (Matt 9:36). His heart for people is still the same. Jesus told His disciples to pray for people who will go to the hopeless of the world, and then He sent them. Jesus wanted to knit His disciples’ hearts together with His. He wants to do the same with our hearts. Jesus wants us to “look” at people the way He looks at them, with love and compassion (John 4:35).
The apostle Paul opened his letters letting his friends know that he prays for them (Col 1:3-12). Please know that we are also praying for you. We thank God for you (Phil 1:3-4). We pray for how God will use you in the “field” He has already placed you in. We also pray that the lives of each one of us will bring glory and honor to our Savior as He uses each of us to reach into people’s lives with the love of God found only in Jesus Christ.
We ask you to pray with us as we follow in obedience to God’s direction in our life and ministry. Look up with us. Do you see the “fields” of the world yet to be reached with the Gospel? The harvest field is incredibly large. Billions of people die each day without ever hearing the name of Jesus, let alone that He is God and Savior. Will you pray about how God would use you as our partner in reaching the unreached?
We are all missionaries. Some of us make it our life’s call to serve full time in missions work. We are trusting God to supply our financial needs through others as we follow His leading (Matt 10:9-10). Sue and I covet your prayers for the ministry into which God has led us. We also ask you to prayerfully consider financially partnering with us in this great work of training many to go out into the yet unreached fields of the world.
