Caps & Gowns for Sisters

May 25, 2010 by Tom

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” (II Timothy 2:15)

I can’t help but gush with pride a bit and say a big CONGRATULATIONS to my sisters upon their recent graduations! My sister Chrissy has graduated from New Tribes Bible Institute here in Michigan, the Bible college where Tom & I graduated about five years ago.  My sister Abby also graduated this spring from the Missionary Training Center in Missouri, just a year and a half after us!

We were able to attend my sister Chrissy’s graduation ceremony and it was so wonderful! I was moved to tears at moments as we listened to the class speakers, special music and the faculty speaker. It was awesome to be reminded of the importance of the Word of God in our lives, the huge task before us as believers (to make disciples) and the privilege we have to serve such a worthy Savior. WOW- it was powerful. We left the ceremony feeling encouraged and inspired to walk with our God.

In almost a month Chrissy will be getting married to her fiance Don here in Michigan. They plan to spend the first year of their marriage living in Pennsylvania, serving at his church and beginning to build a partnership base before they move to Missouri to train at the Missionary Training Center.  You can check out their blog here!

Unfortunately because of some vehicle limitations and previous commitments we were unable to attend my sister Abby’s graduation ceremony in Missouri. 🙁 However, we were excited to hear all about it, as well as see some pictures.

After spending the summer in Michigan, Abby will be returning to the Missionary Training Center to work in their childcare department for the time being.  This is a much needed ministry and often forgotten by most.  Abby is great with kids and she will certainly be an asset to their ministry.  After her time working in childcare she is not sure what she wants to do specifically.  No matter what though, Abby plans on being involved in worldwide missions with her life.

I am so proud of both my sisters for their desire to place the study of God’s Word as a priority in their lives and their willingness to offer their future’s to His directing. I know for a fact they will never regret these decisions! 🙂

On a final note, we are very excited that my little brother Davy has applied to attend New Tribes Bible Institute this fall.  We are thrilled for him to experience the amazing training and discipleship that takes place at the school that the Lord used to change our lives and our direction.

I am the proprietor of JustCBD Store company (justcbdstore.com) and I’m presently seeking to develop my wholesale side of company. It would be great if someone at targetdomain give me some advice ! I thought that the very best way to do this would be to reach out to vape stores and cbd stores. I was really hoping if anybody at all could suggest a qualified site where I can get CBD Shops Business Lists I am currently looking at creativebeartech.com, theeliquidboutique.co.uk and wowitloveithaveit.com. Not exactly sure which one would be the best solution and would appreciate any guidance on this. Or would it be easier for me to scrape my own leads? Suggestions?

Did You Know?

Mexico is home to over 126 million people. While Mexico is the world’s most populous Spanish speaking country you may find it surprising to learn that Mexico’s indigenous groups speak 68 different languages and make up 15 percent of the population!
