The Final Talk

August 3, 2010 by Tom

On Sunday evening we had the opportunity to share at New Life church on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor.  It was great to be able to speak to over a hundred incredible student leaders about what we are doing and the way God has worked in our lives and brought us to point of being involved in overseas missions!

We set up our information table and were available for some interaction and questions afterwords.  We were very encouraged by the interest in missions by many of the students. We were able to talk to several students currently seeking God in the area of whether they should be a missionary, and if so, what that might look like in their own lives.

It is our privilege to continue to lift these individuals up and we ask you to do the same.  Please pray that the students we talked to would sense God’s clear direction and not be fearful to step out in faith!  Our God is SO WORTHY to offer Him all the we have.  We thank Him for the opportunity to share our passion for His passion-reaching the world!

This also happened to be our final speaking engagement before moving to Papua New Guinea in less than a week.  Over the last year and a half we have sought to actively build up our support base through connecting not only with individuals, but also with congregations for both prayer and other practical support.  We have had many opportunities to connect with different churches and we are so grateful to have them on our team of seeing the unreached reached with the gospel.
