We are deeply saddened to share with you that due to a recent unforeseen change in policy that directly affects some of our personal family convictions, we will no longer be able to serve in Papua New Guinea with New Tribes Mission.
Since moving to Papua New Guinea in 2010 we have poured countless hours into relationships, language & culture study and the church plant among the Tigak. These circumstances and this decision has been the one of the hardest of our lives but we are trusting the Lord through them. Though we feel pain and a sense of loss over this sudden change in our direction, we are walking ahead with clear consciences before the Lord. Our Father is in control of all things and knows our deep love for the Tigak people and cares for them even more than we do.
For the time being, we are still members of New Tribes Mission, and still plan to explore other avenues of ministry within the organization.
We are thankful for the investment and prayers that many have made into our work among the Tigak. It was not in vain. If we had known four years ago what would happen now, we would still do it over again. The fruit that we have been blessed to see from our work among the Tigak is priceless and we are thankful for it. Because of God’s great love and mercy our team has been blessed to see over a dozen Tigak men and women join the family of God over our years ministering among them and we have nothing but thanks and praise to give to God for those coming to know & trust Him! We love our Tigak family dearly and always will.
There are many things that makes this transition challenging and one of those is the loss of our wonderful partners in ministry. Though we are all saddened by this, we are in fellowship and will remain close friends always! It has been a privilege and a delight to work along side the Beall family and Aimee Hedrick as our coworkers and we are deeply saddened to lose them as partners.
We are unsure of our future right now but we are not unsure of our God! He remains faithful, loving and trustworthy! No matter what, our lives are still all about Christ and making Him known and we are seeking Him to know what our next step will be. It really would be a great encouragement to know you are praying for us, the Beall family, Aimee and the Tigak church during this challenging time. We are exploring our many options of service within New Tribes Mission as well as other organizations.
Thank you for your prayers. Feel free to Contact Us or message us on Facebook if you have any questions. Check back for more later as we continue to work through this transition as a family!
