One Last Word on Our Pirate Princess

January 27, 2016 by Tom

checkupOur sweet little “Pirate Princess” Iris had an eye appointment a few days ago and we are praising the Lord over the news we received. As some of you may know there was a chance that Iris might need a secondary eye operation. For the last three months she has been wearing glasses and we have been doing patching therapy with her daily. After this last appointment we were told that the therapy is helping! Praise the Lord!

patchIris will continue to wear glasses for the unforeseeable future as well as continue with the patching therapy until her specialist changes the course of treatment. We are so incredibly grateful for those of you who have faithfully lifted Iris’ vision up before the Lord! Thank you so much!

This will be the last public post we will make here on our blog in regards to Iris’ eyes. We will keep those who subscribe to our email updates informed on how she is doing and if any of you would ever like to know how she is doing, feel free to contact us personally!

We will continue to entrust her future healing and eye sight to the Lord and give Him all the praise for the healing in her vision He has allowed thus far! Thank you again for loving Iris with us and praying for her precious eyes!

Blessings on all of you and extra one on Iris. What a very special princess to be given this challenge at such a young age. I am glad I am on your email list as I love to hear how my favorite missionary family is doing. Continued prayers for Iris’ eye and for all of you!
