Back to Blogging!

October 1, 2023 by Tom

It’s been over two and a half years since our last blog post. How did this happen??? I can think of a few reasons. COVID was long and hard for everyone. Life got busier; our children had important needs that demanded our focus, and I think some writing fatigue set in while I was working on my master’s degree.

In any case, we’re gearing up for a new phase of ministry engagement. Along with returning to regular blogging, we’re rebooting our Facebook group and giving email updates a makeover, looking to add new people to our mailing list (contact us if you want to be added!), and trying to find new ways to share what God is doing in Mexico and beyond. Also, next year, we will take our first year-long ministry home assignment! More on this later.

We look forward to bringing you ministry updates, family news, reflections on life in Mexico, and discussion on issues related to cross-cultural missions. We hope it is helpful, encouraging, and edifying.

Don’t forget to look out for our upcoming blog: Preparing for Ministry Home Assignment!

Did You Know?

Mexico is home to over 130 million people. While Mexico is the world’s most populous Spanish-speaking country, you may find it surprising to learn that Mexico’s indigenous groups speak over 364 variations of 68 different languages!
