Ever since Becky and I were married in August of 2015 we planned to serve overseas as a missionary pilot family, in fact, it’s part of the story of how we met. We weren’t completely sure which missions agency we would like to work with, but we had some ideas since we both had previous cross-cultural missions experience. After our first 6-months of marriage we took a 16-month job transfer to Hawaii, which is where our son Nathan was born. Upon returning to Idaho in July of 2017 we started looking into serving with Ethnos360 in their aviation department. Four years and two children later we finally traveled down to the week long Ethnos360 Aviation evaluation in March of 2021. Upon passing the evaluation we took some time to decide if we would complete the application process to join the Ethnos360 missions Training Center that fall. It would mean giving up a good airline job, packing up our house, leaving friends and family, and traveling across the country. Our answer was a resounding YES! This was what we had been hoping to do all those years. We consider ourselves privileged and blessed to join in what God is doing all over the world to bring the message of redemption through Jesus Christ to places where it still has not been heard.
