Happy Easter! I trust that you and your families are having a wonderful Easter celebration. It is with a
thankful heart that we reflect on His death, burial, and resurrection. That is the heart of the Gospel and the message we need to take to our neighbors and beyond.
Our time in the US is speeding by! We are so thankful to be home at this time, visiting friends and family. We are staying with Cheryl’s parents. Her father is 90 years old and his health has not been well and he has fallen a few times. Pray that he will get well and that his strength and balance will return to normal.
We are thankful for the time that we had in Brazil, visiting our son, Ben, and his family. A friend of ours paid for our tickets, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time seeing where they live and minister as missionaries.
Please pray for us as we plan our travels to visit supporters and churches. April is packed with visiting supporters and speaking at two churches. We will be sleeping in 19 different beds that month. Pray for strength and safety as we travel and pray as we adjust our presentation at each place so that we can be used by God to challenge and encourage people.
We still check our Faith emails and have some work to do for Faith Academy. We are thankful that the transition of those taking over our jobs this semester has gone well, and we are thankful that the registration for the following school year continues to go well. Walter has a couple of projects that he works on, but the load is manageable for both of us. Please pray for the recruitment of additional staff for next school year.
We stay connected with the Butterfly Project, sending the girls money for the birthday celebrations and parties. Plus we send pictures and video greetings as we miss them and they miss us. Please continue to pray for the girls at the Butterfly Project that they may grow and heal; pray for strength and wisdom for the caregivers as they encourage and mentor the girls; and pray that the girls will persevere and enjoy their schooling.
Pray that we will use our time wisely, as our time in the US will go quickly. We are focusing on our “northern” supporters this time and will focus on our “southern” supporters in 2026–our next home assignment. We would love to hear from you so please contact us.
We are truly thankful for all of our supporters. Without your faithful support through prayer and finances, we could not minister in the Philippines. It has been a joy to reconnect with many already and we are excited for the last few months, visiting with many more.
Thank you for your prayers and support,
Walter and Cheryl Spicer
