Answers to Prayer

Thank you for praying for my application to be the Head of School. I heard back from the board chairman and was told that I was one of the top 5 candidates, but that they decided not to pursue me for this position. They thanked me for my 29 years of faithful service and asked me to continue as the Deputy Head of School. 

My prayer was that God would clearly show the Board if God wanted me to be the Head of School. It is nice to know now, so we can start preparing for our Home Assignment. We are excited to see you in a few months.

Please continue to pray that God will guide the Board in selecting the Head of School and in filling many other positions, including the high school principal.

Thank you for praying for us and our brief time in the US to celebrate the life of Cheryl’s mother. We are thankful for her legacy, and our time was focused on Christ and the Gospel was clearly presented during the services. Cheryl and her siblings were thankful to be with their father. He is doing well healthwise and is getting the needed support. We are still looking for a device to notify people if he falls.

With all that was happening, I forgot to mention Outdoor Ed. I was the assistant site leader this year, helping as a driver and with other things. I enjoyed our ministry time. We visited a new school, playing games with the students and sharing the gospel. We were well received by the administration, personnel, and students. The great news is that 107 confessed Jesus as their Savior! Plus, I am thankful for the local church that will follow up with all of those children. Here is a link to our Outdoor Ed Video.
