An update on our kids:
Micah – The tall one with no meat on his bones is Micah. He’s dressed up for our Medieval Festival but normally you would find him naked from the waist up. Because of this, and his frequent exposure to the sun, his skin is almost as dark as the people we work among. He likes to read, write, and play strategy games. He’s 7 years old but soon to be 8 and he’s lost two teeth with a third that’s loose.
Cole – “Sir” Cole is 6 years old and growing rapidly but still has yet to catch his brother. He also is rarely seen covered from the waist up but his skin tends to reflect the sun instead of absorb it. He enjoys playing in the jungle, doing crafts, and making word play.
Maisie – Don’t be deceived by the pretty dress and Barbie doll in the hand of this 4 year old. She’d just as soon brawl with a bear as play with that doll. She’s the one I’d least like to meet in a back alley on a dark night. She does possess a tender side as she likes to ‘mother’ all those younger than her and many of those older too. And, when there’s nobody left for her to mother, she’ll pick up that doll and play quietly.
Bailey – This adorable 2 year old has finally started doing her business where business is supposed to be done, (most of the time). She loves to sing, dig in the dirt, and sleep on her favorite rug in the kitchen.
