God is Still on the Throne (12 Jan)

January 12, 2025 by David and Robin Watters

  1. What gift or promise has God reminded me of in this passage? What can I thank Him and praise Him for in worship today? (Rom 1:11)
  2. What encouraged me in my faith in this passage today? (Rom 1:12)
  3. Is there something God is putting his finger on in my life today that needs some work? (Rom 1:13)

Category for the day:

(2) What encouraged me in my faith in this passage today? (Rom 1:12)

Psalm 11:3-4 The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do?” But the LORD is in his holy Temple; the LORD still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth.

Thoughts

I read from Psalm 11 this morning. Verses 3-4 stood out to me. No matter what happens around us, our Father is still on His throne! He has his eyes on you! He never leaves, he is always watching. Like the disciples in the boat, in the midst of the storm. Jesus could see them, was watching, and he cared about them. He came to them, walking on the water. He came to them while they were in the middle of the storm, and met them where they were.

Ps 25:8-10 the Lord is good, and does what is right…” ALL THE TIME!  He shows the proper path… He leads the humble.. the Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness…

May you find your peace in Him today.
