Right now we’re on the fourth day of our 2-month trip to the eastern and Midwestern USA. So far we’ve had stops in north Texas and in Arkansas, and we’re currently in Tennessee. This morning we got to meet and share with a church here in Tennessee who recently started supporting us sight-unseen.
What an encouragement it has been for us to get to meet them in person and see their heart for reaching out with the Gospel here and around the world.
From here we’ll make another couple stops in Tennessee followed by stops in North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York state. After that we’ll arrive in Ohio and spend a month there with DJ’s extended family, our home church, and other friends and churches in that area. In early December we plan to leave Ohio and make more stops in Ontario, Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and north Texas before arriving back home in south Texas 3 days before Christmas.
During this time of traveling we’d appreciate prayers for:
–Good opportunities to share what God is doing among the Hobongan people.
We’ve already had some good opportunities, so we’re feeling pretty encouraged in that area.
–Safety on the road.
–Good health. Most of us are battling a pretty nasty cold right now.
–Homeschooling the girls. Pray that they’ll be able to keep up with their private school class in Texas so they can fit back in well when they start back at that school in January.
Pray for Rachel too as she has just gone back up to the village after spending some time downriver with Mom and Dad.
