New Year, Same Challenges

Thank you so much for continuing to lift our family & ministry up in prayer.  We appreciate each one of you!

Last month we received 3 new families and 2 singles to start their language and culture study.  One of the families that was scheduled to come ended up needing to delay and should be arriving sometime in the next few months, Lord willing.  We appreciate your prayers for them, as well as for those who have arrived and are just getting started into their stage 1 studies.  The new arrivals bring our total number of families & singles studying language here up to 13. 

We had a fairly low-key Christmas break as a family, staying home and following social distancing protocols.  The kids started back to school online yesterday for their second semester of 10^th grade and 7^th grade.  It looks like all their classes will still need to be online at least for this month, probably longer.  Galilee missed the last several weeks of last semester due to her migraines, which continued to keep her bed-bound for most of Christmas break too.  Yesterday she was able to attend the first day of classes, but today she wasn’t well enough to join.  We believe she had another illness (possibly mono) at the end of last semester which has caused her migraines to increase in severity.  Please pray she’ll get relief soon and that she will be able to stay with her class to finish her 10^th grade year.
