Thanks so much for praying for us over the past month. Galilee has already seen a decrease in the severity and frequency of her migraines since the first Botox treatment. Praise the Lord! The next treatment will be in June, and we’re praying that there will be even more improvement after that one.
DJ’s trip to Florida as well as Areli and Tyndale’s numerous competition trips all went well too. We are so thankful for safety in our travels. And speaking of travels, we have a couple more big trips coming up this summer for you to pray with us about. Tyndale’s Geoforce science trip is the last week of June. Right after that, DJ and Tyndale plan to leave for Asia Pacific! They should be there for almost the whole month of July and through the first week of August. They plan to help Rachel dismantle and pack up some things in her house in the village. She is almost finished translating the New Testament into Hobongan and plans to be more itinerate in the village after that, so she’s moving out of her house there. It should also be a good opportunity for them to see some of our Hobongan friends and say some goodbyes. And they’ll be doing some traveling to various villages with DJ’s dad, who also plans to make the trip. Please pray for the finances, connections, health, and safety needed for DJ and Tyndale’s trip, and that it will be a blessing to them and everyone they get to see along the way.
Before that, though, Areli will be graduating from high school on May 19! She’s very excited to be finished with this chapter and on to the next one. She hopes to take some of her first college classes online this summer before moving into the junior college dorms in Uvalde in August to continue toward her LVN (nursing) degree. Galilee is also finishing up high school with the first of her GED exams (math) happening today (May 8) and the others to be scheduled soon. Once Galilee has finished the GED exams, she hopes to take college classes online through our local junior college this fall.
Thanks so much for praying for us and supporting us, y’all. It means more than you know.
